Gift Bag Ensemble

Here's another project we taught at our church.  We wanted to make a gift bag ensemble...coordinating tag, bag and card.  Lots of stamping and a little coloring with regular markers, paper piecing and some yellow fun flock.  Recollections- Doodle Birthday for majority of stamping, inside sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

Easter Cards

I know I'm a few months late, but I wanted to get these on here.  These are the cards we taught for our church's craft night.  I fell in love with these stamps sets from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps .  I have to be honest, I looked at every sample their designers had done for these stamp sets, I followed the release blog hops...some beautiful work over there!!  So I ended up casing these from their fabulous designers...Easter Blessings , Jesus Paid It All

We also saw this cute carrot treat bag at our local stamp store and decided to make our own version of it...it came out so cute filled up with jelly beans...love those Martha Stewart scissors!

Birthday cards

Here's a few cards I have made within the past few months.  I just love this Darice embossing folder...this is my take on a card my dear friend had given to my mom.  It is very striking, even without a lot of embellishment.

My nieces have birthdays 10 days apart from each other and one was really into mermaids...I used my copics to color her.  For my younger niece, I used an action wobble to make this cute pegasus wiggle (so cute!)

Lastly, I made this castle card for our best friend's youngest daughter.  It cut beautifully on my cricut.  Love how it came out for her Princess themed party.

Bookmark card

I love books and bookmarks...but in this day and age of e-readers, this little novelty is getting replaced more and more by an electronic one.  I have room in my heart for both.  So, I made my sister-in-law this bookmark card, using this really cute stamp set from Papertrey Ink: All Booked Up  The bookmark is perforated, so she can rip it off before she throws the card away.  Colored with my Copics.

Mother's Day

Life's been a little crazy, but I wanted to showcase the Mother's Day project we did at our craft night.  I'm casing one I saw at our local stamp store over a year ago, but of course, I had to find a different stamp.  I wanted to teach the ladies how to roll the 3D flowers, so I thought this sentiment went perfectly with flowers.  I cut the two different types from the Art Philosophy cartridge.  I love how this turned out.  I actually added glitter after the fact but didn't take a picture.  I also had a different stamp that I used to make one for my mom...I'll have to see if I can get a picture of it.
