Updates

Even though I haven't been very active on my blog...OK...nonexistent...that doesn't mean life stopped here.  Been doing plenty of living, loving and crafting.  Here's some of the crafting goodness that has gone on.

This is a One Sheet Wonder class that my mom and I taught at church.  Ladies made their own patterned paper and these 14 cards.  Mom picked different sentiments for each card so the ladies had two stamp options to pick from FOR EACH CARD.  Don't know I'll offer that again...it was a lot of prep work, but I think they came out great!

Here's where I got the pattern for all the cards: One Sheet Wonder.  Also got some inspiration from Here and here.  My color and pattern combination inspiration came right out of our Annual Inspirations, pg. 85. Lots of CTMH stamps and inks.  Used Pomegranate, Cotton Candy, Goldrush, Glacier and Pear inks.  Used So Many Smiles stamp set to make the patterned paper and a sentiment, plus a ton of other CTMH stamps (Happy to be Friends, Festive Congrats, Bitty Birthday, Happy, Happy Birthday, Beyond Awesome, Victorian Gratitude, Finding the Words, and Joyful Birthday plus some retired and non-CTMH stamps).  Added in some embellishments and we were good to go.

A few misc. projects

I wanted to get these posted before they totally escaped my memory!!  These are a mix of cards I taught or projects we completed at class as well as cards I created for various people.  I have to confess, most of these are CASes.  If I remember where I saw the idea, I'll try to link back to it.

Here's my inspiration: Folded Christmas Tree Card

Unfortunately the link to Here doesn't work any more!

I made a bunch of these in different colors.  Shown is Thistle  I made some as sympathy cards as well as birthday.  Loved the monochromatic theme!
Here's where I inspiration for this: Predominately Purple
I used CTMH Have a Happy Day for both the sentiment and frame.
This was a technique card: distress inks and heat embossing.
I love CTMH's shimmer trim.  It's adhesive backed and goes on so nicely.  Plus who can resist all that sparkle!!  I used Teal Shimmer Trim
I used CTMH Dotty For You paper!

Totally loved this CTMH Hostess Stamp and totally CASed THIS

My mom came up with this design from this inspiration.  Really love the texture on the Cricut Art Philosophy acorn!
I love making shaped cards and this one is super sweet for the fall.  I used my Cricut Art Philosophy Collection to cut out the card, leaves and sentiment shape.
Gotta Love Mary at Cardz TV

Gotta love Dawn too!  Birthday gift card holder.
I loved this set from Lisa and totally re-created it!
CTMH Your Own Kind of Wonderful, Paper, bags and inks!

Fall themed cards.  Used left over Cricut Art Philosophy leaves.

Lawn Fawn...need I say more! Birthday card.

Stampendous...just loved this guy!  I used these as thank you's for Christmas gifts for the kiddos.
Whew!  Glad I got these up!  Nice trip down memory lane...so many talented folks out there willing to share with us creatively challenged folks!!  I, for one, am very thankful!

CD Calendar

Well, I have resigned myself to the fact that I just don't have the time to keep up a daily or even weekly blog post.  I'm going to make a concerted effort to post at least monthly.  I teach a card class on a monthly basis, so I'd like to be able to keep up with at least posting those creations!

Unfortunately, I have a back log of projects now to post!

For our January class, I wanted to make a refill for the CD calendars we made last year.  I used the template from Here and lots of my CTMH stamps (plus a few Lawn Fawn and other misc.).  I put the links under each picture.  This will be picture heavy since there are 12 months!

I originally made this card at a class I attend once a month Here.  However, I was not able to stamp the sentiment before I had to leave, so I took it home to complete.  I love how this stamp fits perfectly and the color matches the paper very nicely!
