Easter Cards

Here are a couple of Easter cards I taught at my church class.  I wanted to teach about heat embossing as well as cover a couple of different coloring mediums.  We embossed the cross and sentiment with gold embossing powder.  We also colored it in with colored pencils and a Dove blending pen.  For the second card, we stamped on watercolor paper and used water color pencils to color the image in.  We then sprayed some glitter over the entire card...it gave it a nice subtle shimmer.  The cards ended up being a little more time consuming that I thought.  However, I still had the ladies make a small basket full of some Easter treats.

Marriage, New Life and Death!

I recently had to make a wedding card and a "you're pregnant" card and several sympathy cards...doesn't that just make you think about how short our time is on this earth!  We need to make sure we are glorifying God with our lives...everyday!

Some Crafty Creations!

It's been awhile since I posted any projects that I've done.  Every month I teach, along with my mom and dear friend, a women's craft class at my church.  Here's April's projects.  The first is a Mother's Day treat card.  Perfectly holds 5 Hershey Nuggets...all mom's deserve some chocolate on Mother's Day!  I worked off a template I found Here.

Easter Cards

I know I'm a few months late, but I wanted to get these on here.  These are the cards we taught for our church's craft night.  I fell in love with these stamps sets from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps .  I have to be honest, I looked at every sample their designers had done for these stamp sets, I followed the release blog hops...some beautiful work over there!!  So I ended up casing these from their fabulous designers...Easter Blessings , Jesus Paid It All

We also saw this cute carrot treat bag at our local stamp store and decided to make our own version of it...it came out so cute filled up with jelly beans...love those Martha Stewart scissors!
