Easter Cards

I know I'm a few months late, but I wanted to get these on here.  These are the cards we taught for our church's craft night.  I fell in love with these stamps sets from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps .  I have to be honest, I looked at every sample their designers had done for these stamp sets, I followed the release blog hops...some beautiful work over there!!  So I ended up casing these from their fabulous designers...Easter Blessings , Jesus Paid It All

We also saw this cute carrot treat bag at our local stamp store and decided to make our own version of it...it came out so cute filled up with jelly beans...love those Martha Stewart scissors!

Prayer Journal

One of the first projects we did with our monthly craft group at church was an altered composition book.  Most of the women made theirs into a Prayer Journal.  The one pictured is the one I made, but alas, I ended up giving it away, but I thought it came out so pretty.  We used some Martha Stewart punches for the edges, Spellbinders dies to cut the label (can't remember which now) and my mom found some sweet small gel pens that were perfect in our paper "pen holder".  We added ribbon for a book marker and also to tie the book closed.  I added a pocket on the inside cover to hold prayer sheets, or church bulletins/announcements and stamped a scripture sentiment from one of the Scripture Collections from Our Daily Bread Designs

Telescoping Image Cards

Here are a few cards I made to give to some special people. I used colored pencils and gamsol, lots of Glossy Accents, and the rectangle spellbinders die and this telescoping image tutorial
